I am so happy that I finally have my very own logo! I'm so smitten with how it turned out that I figured I'd make a post on it AND the kick ass designer/illustrator who made it for me. I think the tiny house in the logo is self-explanitory, but did you know that the purple butterfly is the symbol for chronic illnesses including Lupus and Fibromyalgia? Well you sure as heck do now.
I have a HUUUUGE need to make a bunch of merch with my new logo on it, but perhaps I need a demand for them before I start sending things off to the printers. Living in my own house that I made with my own two hands is my dream, and I hope you'll continue on this crazy journey with me. But now, Sarah!
Since this post is actually meant to be a spotlight on her, I'd like to first mention that Sarah and I have known each other for a few years now. She is a compassionate and driven person who takes great pride in her work. I was very impressed with her profesionalism and going through the process of making a logo with her was almost painless (for me at least ).I'm very confident that Sarah will do amazing things in her life, and that she'll continue to be an incredibly creative person in the future.
Here is some of her previous and ongoing works!
Sarah Ellison is a graduate of the York University/Sheridan College Design program. For much of her life she has been an avid illustrator, and she is now applying that skill to her design work. Presently Sarah works for Travelway Group Intl., a company that specializes in designing patterns and packaging for backpacks and luggage for various companies around the world. In her free time she loves to take on small projects.
